Wonder Woman Princess of Power

Leader of the Justice League of America
and would be savior of the DCEU

After the tragedy of BVS Patty Jenkins gives us Wonder Woman,
Champion of the Themyscira
and protector of the free world. By now we've all seen the movie that was the hope to save the DCEU and we all bowed to our Amazon Princess.
Her movie was good, Pine was good, the story was good, cast was good,
visually stunning and Gal was great.

Yes...she is now my Wonder Woman too.
I'll always love you Ms Carter that's on everything but Gal has stepped into the roll and is representing Marvel-ously.

I know I know you might be saying " Hey OA1 you were the #1 opponent against casting a skinny Amazon an---" And then I saw the movie. Amazons came in all colors, shapes and sizes, skill sets you name it.

Am I still the strongest advocate of the thick and sexy? Yes I am, however in this case Gal like in her movie won the day.
I had to go thru all that to admit that even OA1 can be wrong.
(Not often but it happens)

Guys I wanted to talk about the Justice League movie.
But since I been gone for so long and locked out of my own blog spot I had to address how wonderful Gal worked out as Wonder Woman, how strong the movie was and how I now want Patty Jenkins to do all the DCUE movies or at least my revered Suicide Squad.
I'll do a quick OA1 overview of the Justice League movie
and leave you with Wonder Woman's 90's theme song.
And forever
Long Live the Squad

Defamation of Character

Inglorious Bastards

I thought if and when DC re-introduced the Bronze Tiger back into comics it would be a weak watered down version of him, because they don't ever get him completely right; or it would be a reignited volcano of martial arts kick assery. However...I didn't see the full annihilation of the best African American character that they have / and he being burned in effigy. Why? I don't know, but I should have seen it coming. The over use of the tiger mask and the way most artist drew it to look like a real tiger head instead of a helmet or mask. The lack of exposure, inconsistent portrayals of Turner and his abilities and quite honestly not knowing what to do with a Black male character.

So the easy generic fix and blatant degradation of the character comes in the form of a catman. How could I not have seen it? What they've done is taken away everything that made him that one in ten thousand. They turned him into an animal, a full blown humanoid tiger.              I've been  contemplating whether or not to even cover this travesty.

Like the first Bronze Tiger comic book solo spotlight, that was so bad and spoke malice intention to the so called protagonist, this tigerman does worse.

I can hear Dutch laughing and the notorious racist / anti Semite HP Lovecraft might be getting ready to do the writing. Either way, DC has finally drove the message home (to me).

Being a man tiger has been done before.?. yeah in Batman the Brave and the Bold animated series and it was a damn good story. The episode was great, FOR A COMEDY. For a series that fused the campynesss of the sixties with the innovation and modernization of now, that always tended to get to silly.
From me it got a pass.
This new 52 tiger appears to be something totally different.

Is this a more serious take on the powers of the Wudang totem?

Is this even Ben Turner and he's on a quest to regain his humanity?

Or is this an epiphany of eugenics that's hiding behind a personal creative spin.?.

Whatever the case, tigerman the Thundercat shouldn't have been how the best martial artist in the DC nation was re-introduced to comics.

That's what I get for misplaced loyalties.

Was this take to much like right

Pencils and Pens

Interpretation                                                                                 is Everything

Bronze Tiger BATB: Zealand Jones
This is a favorite of mine. Wish BT had made more appearances on
the Brave and the Bold.

Vixen and the Falcon: Peter Temple
Shlomo sent me this one. I don't really know Mr.Temple but he's one of my favorite artist.
And this is my choice look for BT by Peter. Matter of fact I wouldn't mind if BT was a Marvel character. He'd probably be better off.

Doom vs Suicide Squad: Comic Vine
Doom is an enemy of the whole world.
Why not every universe?

DSC Bronze Tiger: Tulio 19mx deviantArt
This guy has the look down pack, modern temp fade hair cut,
bandolier type chest piece etc.
I like the direction the face is going in. Great concept.

Task ForceX: Shlomo the man deviantArt
Young Justice never did finish the League of shadows story line
and got cancelled before they could roll into the Legends story arc
but it would have been niiiice to see Bronze Tiger and Deadshot do their thing on YJ.

Suicide Squad #0: ledkilla, deviantArt
And here is the newest crew to call themselves the Squad.

the Realest

Killing the Perception

Dr.Doris Zeul

Team affiliation: the Legion of Doom, Villainy Inc.
Secret Six, Secret Society of Super Villains,
Injustice League

Abilities: size manipulation (can grow to 50+ feet tall) Superhuman strength and near invulnerability
when she grows.

Giganta is one of the founding members of
the Legion of Doom,
a scientist and fighter. She also represents
something more as a woman. Giganta is 6' 5 or
taller, intelligent, can protect herself and
is full figured. That's right sports fans,
Giganta is thick and curvy.
The sexy plus size villain that exemplifies every woman when it comes to her build, confidence and skill. When it comes to being respected by her peers for who she is,
no one in this genre does it better.

Giganta is the only woman character that I can think of that radiates strength, danger and feminine sex appeal in one package.  When I think of my favorite 50 foot woman in a live action type version this is what I base her on.

Now we all know each artist and writer does his or her own thing when they control the character. The original idea for Giganta and what I like to see would be drawn and modeled

like ....BAM!!!

Artist, don't be scared to draw a voluptuous Amazon when you draw Giganta
It's a real woman in those leopard prints.

A woman is the most beautiful thing God ever created if you ask OA1
and they come in all sizes of perfection.

consider this my first acknowledgement to you ladies.
There will be more.

the Amazing Spiderman

With Great Power comes Great Responsibility

This not only goes for Spiderman. It also extends to the producers and screen writers of this film. People you have a template to work from! You didn't have to change Spiderman's origin to put your own creative spin to the movie.

The inclusion of  Peter's family was a great idea and could have replaced trying to re imagine Peter's high school relationships and experience's. Instead, the parents didn't even matter at all, they added nothing to the movie of any significance. The parents plus the high school crap made the film drag and drag for half the movie; another thing among many that was wrong, was Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Sally Fields and Martin Sheen are both great actors, I luv em both but they got casted to roles that were written completely wrong. Peter also never had enough time on screen being Spiderman. And why can't Spiderman keep his mask on, Damn! The Garfield guy was OK, not sarcastically funny at all,  and kind of a drama queen but OK.

The animation guys and that team of folks did a hell of job on the look and feel of the movie. The Lizard was done superbly  even though his head should have been more alligator than Killer Croc.

After the lizard premier I thought DC had lost their chance at putting Killer Croc in a movie, but that's a lie. Richard Dawson says..."DC gets to steal a chance at doing this right".

Emma Stone was renowned. Every frame that she showed up in helped hold the movie together. To bad it wasn't a movie about Gwen. The return of Spiderman's web shooters also helped. At the end, the movie tried to finish strong with action, fine swinging and a couple of action pauses. My crew still left the theater disappointed. With that being said.

We all went as a group to see the movie, and in consensus we ranked the movie on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. 5 being the highest. This movie gets

2 and a half stars

Even though Spiderman III almost destroyed the franchise, the Amazing Spiderman is only a hyped up forgettable nothing.

The 10 greatest superhero movies of all time

1.the Avengers
2.Blade
3.Spiderman II
4.the Dark Knight
5.the Incredible Hulk
6.Batman Begins
7.Blade II

GEMINI

TASKFORCE X: covert ops network created to fill the void of the retired JSA.
It originally consisted of two branches, the domestic branch/Argent and the international branch the Suicide Squad. Those groups eventuality dissolved until Amanda Waller put together her own version of this team (legends mini series) utterly ruthless, totally expendable. And what you got was the kick ass regiment of killers from Ostranders celebrated run. Later Project Cadmus and Checkmate were added to TaskforceX. Cadmus as a high tech genetic and weapons research division

And Checkmate the worldwide charterd metahuman monitoring force whos operatives are modelled after pieces of a chessboard. One King one Queen and several Bishops. The Bishops oversaw the Rooks behind the scenes while the Rooks planned missions and supervised the field agents the Knights and Knights support paws.  Now a new system is in place, the rule of two. Each superpowered or enhanced member in  the Royal Family must have an unpowered counterpart in the same position of power.
The name TaskforceX has become synonymous with the Suicide Squad. But TaskforceX is actually a trinity of one. The operatives that work on behest of the government are called TFX. And those operatives that are deployed by Amanda Waller are called the Suicide Squad. The third group that operates as the Suicide Squad are employed or loyal only to Waller which is the true TaskforceX.

I almost got a migraine trying to wrap my head around who or what is TaskforceX. So I give it to you guys to see if you could figure out the enigma that is Amanda Waller.

TIGER STYLE: 7th CHAMBER

In the new 52 universe where what we use to know is not what we know, the Bronze Tiger hasn't shown up in the Suicide Squad title yet. We don't know if he'll show up at all or how he'll be represented (Harley Quinn , Deadshot).

Soooo here's how the number one martial artist of the DCU's skills and powers should be done.

WHY?
Because martial arts represents superior fighting systems developed to enhance the human mind, body and spirit to it's maximum physical and mental abilities.

And what is acheived at the highest levels of Kung Fu.......SUPER HUMAN POWERS to make a long story short; Magic Kung Fu.

With all that said. Heres the challenge for any comic guy or girl that might be tuned in.

1. Can you name any other martial arts character that has powers.
2. Can you name any martial arts style assossiated with a character.
3. Tell me why the Tiger shouldn't have em.
