new 52 mini series: Shadow Hunter

Bronze Tiger vs Lord Naga

The Suicide Squad's resident martial arts bad ass Benjamin Turner; AKA the Bronze Tiger gets his own nine cover mini series. Action, drama, intrigue and Animotion (new term/thanks Mr.Bagwell). BT squares off with Lord Naga, Kobras supreme cult leader and international terrorist. What's lord Naga's mo. technological sorcery, biological warfare, world wide espionage and more terror cells than zero's and one's. The United answer to the problem, release the Shadow of Death the Bronze Tiger.

If Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado handled this book how do you think it would compare to the six new releases from DC?

Who do you think should be the cast and who should make cameos?
I would surely not do an origin in the series. A one shot would do the job.

This is the first three issues in order. Check out the whip, the Barbies don't have a chance (of escape). just to be clear

  1. i'll have to get back to you on some of those questions in your posting but as a concept that would be one awesome mini-series or even a large size one shot. BT vs Kobra, absolute bad ass match up! by the way you hit it out of the park with the graphic design work you did for this posting.

  2. Thanks man just playing around, I would love to see some professional handy work put in on a BT series though.

Looking at the new line up of 52 Batman Inc. might be the only one I check out.

  3. I bought the last Richard Dragon series for much of its run for Bronze Tiger. It sucked, and I can't believe Richard Dragon has had two short-lived ongoing series to Ben Turner's lack of so much as a special. Those mock covers make me want the real thing!

  4. If I can't buy it, make it. That was part of the thought process. And yeah the Richard Dragon series was really bad and I hear that it's not even considered to have happened in DC continuity among some fans.

These are the first three covers I'm going to do a few more. The need for completion and all.

  5. Hey Omega!

Uh, you left the an L out of my last name, but I'll forgive ya' because you give me such sweet lovin'. Ha! No, you're cool man!

Loving the kick-ass graphics you made up! I really do. I might have to try something like that. Maybe if I re-download Paint.net, I can do some of that stuff.

The creative team you mentioned would indeed no doubt place the book high on the sales chart. Especially if somehow you replace Johns with either Greg Rucka, Gail Simone, or even papa John Ostrander. Either way I'm sure there are more than enough fans that would scoop this little bad boy of yours up!

Again, love the hell out of the graphics, so keep it up man! You're making the rest of look bad. Ha ha!

    1. Uh....my bad got to get that L in there. spelling 101 didn't take well. Dale glad you like the covers. Gail would have killed issue three right? Boomerang, Deadshot and the Tiger; Checkmate Knights, Animotion daze(Barbies).

I'm reading Dawn of the Jedaii right now Ostrander and Jan Duursema, the Star Wars expanded universe at it's best.

I'm coming over to the mad house in a few.

Glad to hear you've discovered Ostrander's Star Wars too - I've read some of his work there from the library. It's awesome stuff!

    1. So true, this new series has gotten a good running start. I think it's goning to show us the origin of the sith.

(other news):Obi Wan had a psychotic episode and got arrested for crashing speeders in Roseville CA. It just lets us know to beware Darkside.

  7. Oh, forgot to tell you Omega, the term Animotion wasn't coined by me. It was the name of a one-hit wonder band from the 80's. Still a nice title for my skit though.

Looking forward to more kick-ass covers from you man!

Shouts are going out to the fan artist of the Bronze Tiger and the Suicide Squad. If I could I would corral em all right here and give their art a post every week. So to all of the artist and writers of the Squad old and new, you are welcome here. 1(one).
