The Last Man Standing

Deathstroke vs the JSA

My nephew and action figure collecting partner sent me these fight pictures and second round drag out of Slade vs the JSA. I guess they wanted some get back from the beat down he gave em from Identity Crisis. Either way, here we go....FIGHT!

Slade Wilson, the Terminator aka: DEATHSTROKE
Mercenary assassin and scourge of the DCU. Possesses various enhanced abilities at an almost superhuman level. These include strength of ten men, heightened speed, agility, stamina and reflexes.

Deathstroke can use 90% of his brain making him a tactical genius, adept at turning an opponent's own abilities against them. He has years of military training and possesses a healing factor that enables him to heal from physical injury much faster than a normal person; however, it does have limitations. He cannot regenerate entire limbs. So he can be killed.

Slade is expert hand to hand combatant and a weapons expert, but his signature weapon is a power staff, that fires lethal and non lethal energy blasts from both ends. He could probably use it right now to keep from getting kicked in the face.

Oh well, that kicking stuff didn't last.

Looks like these guys have just got the business done to em. And Deathstroke needs some new guys to fight. Maybe beat the crap out of some marvel guys? Deadpool, Blade, Taskmaster, who knows. Thanks Jake for the pics man. And until your guy meets the Bronze Tiger he gets the win.

  1. Wow those photos are awesome! Loved the Slade vs Hawkman one right at the start!! I didn't realise Deathstroke had such a wicked figure running round out there otherwise I probably would've added him to my self of three action figures already.

    Nice job guys!

  3. that's the best staged fight scenes with action figures since those ones i found of BT in that dojo setting a while ago. i remember an especially good sequence in the X-Men vs. Titans cross over back in the 80s when Slade flipped Colossus like a crash test dummy.

    1. Thanks guys. I posted these and ran over to a cookout, I don't think Jake has seen the post yet.

Thanatos, I'm with you, Bats should have pulled out a Baterang or something.

Dan, who else you got on the shelf man, I got to know?

Shlomo, Did you see how Deathstroke just came out the plastic box whooping asses? I wonder who's next.

  4. I liked that these fights were mostly precedented. Deathstroke stabbed Hawkman dead on Smallville, kicked Hal Jordan in the nuts in his own title, and has done up Batman serious. Too bad Aquaman wasn't around to get blinded and battered, as well. I have much love for Bronze Tiger, but I don't think him or Shiva need any of that.

  5. Yeah, awesome, awesome pics. I've seen some similar pics on thefwoosh.com or something like that.

As for BT vs. Deathstroke, I can't believe DC's never run with that shit yet. I don't know how much it would mean in the current NuCrap DCU, but that would still be a damn fine match-up.

  8. Thanks for all the comments i like putting toys in stands its something i'm just good at and when i got the deathstroke i wanted to create that battle that was from the comic book it was a good one and it was my favorite action in the comic books. Deathstroke might don't have super powers but he know how to use his smart tactics against super powered beings.
